Susan Kirchoff - Executive Director

Susan is Lead Case Manager, Director, lunch time communicator, janitor or whatever the need of the day is for The Youth Connection. She has many years of experience working with youth and young adults and has lived experience as an at risk youth, experienced homelessness as a youth and as an adult with children. She did not let this define who she is or affect her life which is what she works with young people to understand. They are the makers of their end results depending on their choices.

Our Team

  • Donna Duke

Donna is the bookkeeper at TYC. She has years of experience with youth at risk as a case manager and parapro.

“ I am very blessed to be part of this team. I see how much they care for the youth that come here and that warms my heart.”

  • Dina Guijosa

Dina is the Belfair Center Supervisor and Case Manager. Dina comes with lived experience in homelessness, drug addiction, the court system/lockup, DOC and working with DCYF. She knows what it takes to overcome the same barriers that a lot of our youth face day to day. She hit rock bottom quickly by losing her job, house, kids, car and started catching felony charges. Once she began her journey of recovery within 6 months she regained housing, her children and a vehicle. As a case Manager and supervisor of the Belfair Youth connection, she knows just how quickly you can lose it all and the work it takes to get it all back. Sharing with clients my experience helps them to see change is achievable. It doesn't matter where you're at on your journey, Dina will come right alongside you to help you with no judgement.

  • Annie Havens

I have had many interesting paths in my career, heavy equipment operator for logging, landscaper, horse rancher, a motorcycle mechanic and many more. I have lived experience with homelessness and substance abuse and been involved with the juvenile system all of which I have overcome. I am so grateful for the gift of sobriety. I am a mother to an addict who is still working on a path to sobriety. I am passionate about reaching my community, building relationships with business in Belfair and reaching our young people through outreach in the schools. I look forward to the blessing I will receive from serving my community to the best of my ability.
