Housing Support

TYC has helped create a stepping stone for my future plans. They have provided clothes, housing, community, food, hygiene products, and more.

We provide youth ages 18–24 with safe and stable housing through shelter homes, transitional programs, rental assistance, and eviction prevention. Our goal is to meet immediate housing needs while helping youth build long-term stability and independence.

We offer both our own housing, including six off-site shelter homes, and partner with community agencies to ensure each young person finds the best fit for their situation.

Our programs focus not just on providing shelter, but also on supporting youth as they develop essential life skills and confidence to maintain stable housing over time. Using a Housing First approach, we prioritize safety and stability while meeting each youth where they are and helping them progress at their own pace.

With our care team and community partnerships, we ensure that every youth receives the resources and guidance they need to thrive, laying the foundation for a more secure and independent future.

To Qualify for housing support, youth meet with a staff member to determine which program best fits their needs, as eligibility varies depending on the type of housing and individual circumstances. You must be under 25 and reside in Mason County Washington (unless fleeing domestic violence). Call our Shelton center at 360-462-0125 to schedule an appointment and see how we can help you.
